20-23 APR:  SPIRIT (B25 & QUICKY (J24) Compete at Charleston Race Week

The Hampton Roads Chapter had two crews on the start line in Charleston this weekend. The Competition was tough, but fun was had by all! They are sure to return next year with a bit more salt and grit - Hats off to the Charleston Race Week Team - who truly put on a great regatta!

APRIL:  Weekly Racing Begins on the Southern Chesapeake
The first week of April marks the beginning of racing on the Southern Bay.  The Team in Hampton Roads kicked things off in fine fashion with over 40 Veterans racing between the Wednesday nights with Little Creek Sailing Association and Thursdays with Willoughby Racers on Little Bay!  If you are interested in racing contact us, or go down to the docks at Bayview Marina in Little Creek (Wed)  or Rebel Marina (Thursday) - boats leave the docks at 1700.

Team is the core of any military experience.  After deployment and retirement, many Veterans no longer have access to the small unit environment so fundamental to military life.

Sailing offers a unique environment where Veterans of all ages can enjoy camaraderie; compete as a team; navigate dynamic challenges;  experience healthy adrenaline; and find excitement, calm and peace all in one event!
